USTEX provides independent hydrostatic spill containment testing and functional verification of all spill containment components under EPA 40 CFR §280.43. Conflict-free assessment of fillport spill buckets, dispenser sumps, overfill prevention valves, and interstitial monitoring systems.

Spill Containment Testing Services

• Hydrostatic Spill Bucket Testing — Controlled hydrostatic testing of fillport spill containment manholes to verify liquid-tight integrity per EPA 40 CFR §280.43(g).
• Dispenser Sump Integrity Testing — Testing of dispenser containment sumps for water infiltration and product leakage pathways.
• Transition Sump Verification — Inspection of underground piping transition sumps at tank top connections.
• Overfill Prevention Device Testing — Functional testing of ball float valves, flapper valves, and automatic shutoff devices at 90% capacity per EPA 40 CFR §280.43(h).
• Fill Cap & Port Inspection — Visual inspection of fill caps, drop tubes, and fillport components for wear and proper sealing.
• Secondary Containment Interstitial Monitoring — Assessment of interstitial monitoring systems in double-wall tanks and piping.
