Fuel systems supporting emergency power

Readiness requires coordinated testing

Emergency-power fuel systems may include bulk tanks, belly tanks, day tanks, and automated transfer loops. USTEX evaluates the identified storage and fuel-system components in coordination with the facility engineering team and generator service provider. The facility’s adopted NFPA 110 requirements and maintenance plan remain part of the wider emergency-power program.

Controlled isolation and access

Tank, piping, containment, and monitoring evaluations are planned around fuel availability and the facility’s approved operating restrictions. Isolation requires agreement on backup arrangements and restoration checks. USTEX does not promise uninterrupted readiness where the requested test requires a component to be unavailable.

Findings for the reliability program

Reports document the components tested, conditions, results, and unresolved items for inclusion in the facility maintenance record. Fuel-system diagnostics support the broader readiness program; they do not certify the entire emergency-power system. NFPA 110 reference.

Technical dispatch

Schedule testing or request urgent investigation

USTEX provides rapid-mobilization diagnostics and regulatory testing for storage tank systems across commercial, retail, and municipal facilities. For inspection deadlines, recurring console alarms, or scheduled compliance testing, contact the USTEX technical dispatch desk by phone or through the digital intake portal.

Red-tagged facilities and leak investigations are treated with urgency, with dispatch within 24 hours.
